2018 Achievements:

 

  • Congratulations to Cassidy Ripley, Kayleigh Phipps, Daniella Ribeiro who came third in their category at the Sanesa Prize-giving.
  • Congratulations to Savannah Sardinah on winning 2nd place at the Urban Ruins Nelson Mandela Day Art Competition.
  • Boksburg High would like to take this opportunity to congratulate our Head Boy, Christopher Dovale, for achieving a Bronze in the CAT Olympiad. Chris was one of 12 finalist’s country wide who took part in the CAT Olympiad final in Cape Town during the school holidays. 

 

  • Congratulations to Calista McGuinness for being awarded Runner-Up in the Faber-Castell Competition! As well as Mrs Spoon for being the lucky draw winner!
  • The following CAT learners took part in the ELITE division of the 2018 "Computer Talent Search". In order to receive a bronze certificate, one needs to do better than 50% of all participants’ country wide. In order to receive a silver certificate, one needs to do better than 79% of all participants’ country wide. In order to receive a gold certificate, one needs to do better than 93% of all participants’ country wide. A huge congratulations to:

  • Three horse riders from Boksburg High took part in a competition that took place at Eaton Farm in Midrand on Sunday 11th February:

·Kaylin Phipps – Won her Equitation Working Hunter / She also jumped 90cm competition Daniella

·Ribeiro – Won her Equitation / She jumped 70cm competition

·Brandon Brown – 80 cm Competition

Boksburg High School placed 2nd overall in the Ekurhuleni South District Awards. This would never have happened without the hard work and dedication of our extraordinary teachers and matrics of Boksburg High 2017. Boksburg High School had three Matrics who placed in the academic top 10 in Ekurhuleni South. Boksburg High placed 2nd overall in the Ekurhuleni South District for 2017. Congratulations to the following learners who placed:
